Occasionally Preferred Partners is a songwriting collaboration between long-time friends Mark Piatelli and Kayte Deioma with occasional added co-writers on specific projects.

We write songs aimed at uplifting the human spirit and simultaneously meeting the needs of music supervisors for film, television, and advertising.

We love the extra depth and variety that collaborating brings to the songwriting process and are inspired by the creativity contributed by our guest co-writers. It helps us stretch and grow as songwriters and is a heck of a lot of fun.

We are each singer/songwriters in our own right. Our songs may feature us separately or together as vocalists or we may introduce other artists whose voices are more suited to particular songs.
